The Open Door invites you to stop in and try a daily lunch special, prepared by the youth in the P.E.E.R. Connections program.

The Cafe is open Tuesday - Friday from 9:30-4:30 and serves lunch from 11:30 - 1:30.

Odessa, a local Augustana student, spent 24 hours on the street to learn more about being homeless. The link below is her *YouTube Podcast* of the experience. She said that she down-played how miserable it was because "I didn't want to appear like I was whiny and exaggerating ,but it was really was awful!" Odessa continued " I think it would be difficult, if not impossible, to maintain your regular day-to-day activities.
