I often joke with my daughter when she bakes that I'm responsible for quality improvement and need to test every batch that she is making to ensure it meets a high standard! This usually results in me being chased around the house.
One of my key tasks as Executive Director is to ensure that our programs and services are operating effectively and efficiently through a quality improvement process. (not nearly as much fun as tasting the cookies!) This process includes analyzing data we have collected on the impact of our work, surveying staff and the community and ensuring that we are wise stewards of the funds that we secure.
