Community Helpers

Certificate Training Program
Community Helpers (CHP) will be delivered virtually during COVID-19.

Community Helpers (CHP) is a community-based suicide prevention program funded through Alberta Health Services.  Training provides participants the skills to better take care of themselves and to help other individuals. The training involves specific course training delivered by the CHP facilitator or guest speakers. You will learn how to better support yourself, friends, and peers in a provincially recognized program. You'll also learn life skills, add to your resume, and meet new people.

Participants will be awarded a certificate upon completion. All classes must be attended to obtain certificate.
