OFFICE SPACE FOR RENT

We still have offices left in the basement for rent.  As of August 1st, we will have one office space available on the main floor.  For further information, call 679-6803.

Capital Campaign

The Open Door has developed a new meeting place called the Gateway Centre located in downtown Camrose. This multi-agency centre is the home of the Open Door programs as well as various other organizations. The aim is to provide a place where people can get the support they need without going to several different offices. Several organizations are already renting space at the Gateway Centre. We are excited by the possibilities for new partnerships among organizations.

You can help make this vision a sustainable reality. The Open Door is raising a minimum of $250,000 to qualify for a matching facility enhancement grant to help with the cost of the building and renovations. Your contribution to this campaign will be doubled if we are successful. All cash donations are receiptable for income tax purposes. Donations of time (painting, cleaning, etc.) and materials can also be credited towards the matching grant.

Thank you for your support. For more information please contact Randal Nickel at the Open Door.

The Camrose Open Door Second Annual Bed Race

Congratulations to last year's fastest bed - Merchant's Express, representing the Duggan Mall.  Thank you to all the teams who entered and had a good time racing their beds.  With the pledges gathered, coin votes, and burger sales, we raised approximately $5,000.  The money is used to help shelter Camrose youth at risk.  Thank you to all who participated, supported, and cheered the teams on!!!

Congratulations and a hearty THANK YOU to Brigantia Place for raising the most money by collecting pledges.

Our own Positive Personal Futures team - "The Knarly Crib" won the people's choice award with a coin vote.  Great Job team!  Also the best decorated team, chosen by our judges, was the Canada World Youth group, who called themselves Canada World "Grandma's".  Both these teams were great sports and we enjoyed their enthusiasm.

We hope our winners enjoyed their flight and dinner out - thanks to our prize sponsors - Camrose Flight Centre and East Side Marios.
